پنجاب تے قبضے لئی انگریز نے ست جنگاں لڑیاں جنہاں وچوں تن وڈیاں سن ، کئی امن معاہدے وی تخت لہور نال کیتے گئے ، انگریز دے جسوساں دی رپورٹ موجب انگریز نیں پنجاب تے قبضے توں باد پنجاب نوں قوت تے منظم کرن آلے بہترین تلیمی نظام تے پنجابی نصاب لٹریچر، مسلم غیر مسلم نوں کٹھا رہن آلے بہترین نوں جنگی بنیاداں تے تباہ تے برباد کیتا جیس دا اثر اج پنجاب وچ مذہبی جنونیت ، ماں بولی پنجابی دی پنجابیاں ہتھوں بیقدری تے رہتل دی بربادی صورت ساڈے سامنے اے .

Punjab was the last state that British occupied after their invasion of subcontinent in a subtle way. Before setting foot into Punjab, they sent their observers to check military strength of Punjab. These observers instead reported that it is impossible to defeat Punjab given its extraordinary education system. Every Punjabi whether male or female was required to read Punjabi Quaida which is provided free of cost by the Government. Everyone was educated in Punjab. All communities were living in a brotherly manner. When news reached the British Governor of Bengal, they devised a strategy to take away Punjabi from Punjab so that Punjab may be completely subjugated. 

Then most enlightened Punjab became illiterate just by switching language.

Alas we are still doing injustice to Punjabi language. We feel hesitant to speak Punjabi to our kids at home especially in the presence of guests. Punjabi is not an ordinary language. It is 5000 years old language.
